Assuming both engine-out situation due to some reason, it is important to consider a system which can judge a possible landing site and generate the guidance law in real time. This research purposes to develop a system which can quickly indicate a landing site where the both engine-out aircraft can safely reach, with an automatically generated abort trajectory. Firstly, reachable range is examined by a simulation which comprises nonlinear motion of turning flight, and optimum gliding flight. In the next step, boundary conditions are given at the initial point and at a landing site assumed within the reachable range, and trajectory optimization calculation is conducted for two objective functions: time and total load on the aircraft, to obtain the abort trajectory. Two types of optimal trajectories are compared in terms of applicability to a more realistic and safer flight.
