Abstract
As a purpose to contribute 21 Century COE Program "Pulsed Powder Science", Shock Wave and Condensed Matter Research Center is now promiting some research projects on the use of explosive energy for materials processing technology. The use of underwater shock wave enebles us to controll the pressurizing condition and some approaches considering the industrial applications are briefly introduced.
