In this research, to develop sliding bearing of biodegradable plastics, it is interesting to improve surface properties and thermal conductivity of the material by ceramic thermal coating and carbon compounding. Frictional coefficient and thermal conductivity of several kinds of Ceramic thermal-coated biodegradable composite plastics are examined. It is found that thermal conductivity of the materials increases with an increase of carbon fiber content. Temperature distributions of test pieces of the materials during friction test were obtained.
