Because of an excellent specific bending strength and specific bending rigidity, the sandwich panel is used as the floor material of the aircraft now. The floor material damages with a locally concentrated load by a sharp heel of high-heeled shoes. In this study, it is attempted that this situation was modeled by the local compression fatigue test of peripherally clamped honeycomb sandwich panel. Then, the residual displacement and the energy lose were studied. Also, the frature mechanism was discussed from the above results and the observation of core and face sheet during the test.
