The purpose of this research is to materialize biomimetics surface which provides requirements for the apropriate place via canal lile a blood vessel. As a fundermental research of that we designed a structure named dimples network: all adjacent dimples were connected benieth the sliding surfaces. 3D printer could be the only realistic way to realize such a complex structure. Besides, in this report, we designed ooze out lubrication by use of networked dimple: SAP (Superabsorbent polymer) gel ooze outs from the networked dimples in the persence of water. The present research deals with the measurement of friction properties of the ooze out lubrication and its comparison with other surface texturing structures. Disk specimens were made by SLS (Selective Laser Sintering) 3D printer, and COF (coefficient of friction) were measured with a plate-on-disk friction tester. Results of the tests suggested that existence of the SAP gel on sliding contacts leads to low COF. It was also suggested that ooze out lubrication stabilizes COF because ooze out lubrication enables sliding contacts to be always saturated with the SAP gel. In summary, ooze out lubrication reduces and stabilizes COF. Ooze out lubrication, which has potential to supply material stably, could be one of the effective approach to realize biomimetics surface.
