Abstract
In order to develop a high torque gearbox, we built up a power circulating gearbox test-facilities to proving its performance. It is the common configuration that the back-to-back type gearboxes are driven by an electric motor and a dynamometer absorbs its power. Though that system is not only expensive but also energy consuming, we make it a power circulating system. The mechanical efficiency of whole system is proved 85% except lubricating power. That means the system needs only 15% of transmitting power. We also set up a noise proof room to the gearbox. It is proved good performance to isolating from other gearboxes and lubrication systems.
