Abstract
The "Smoother-E/F" can control clutch operation automatically by replacing a dry clutch of 5 or 6 speeds manual transmission by fluid coupling and wet multi-clutches. The new system "Smoother-E Autoshift" has been achieved automatic gear shift-up and shift-down operation by adding an electromagnetic gearshift unit. Magnetic solenoids can reduce the gearshift time and elongate the durability period compared with electric motor, hydraulic piston, and pneumatic piston. "Smoother-E Autoshift" can improve the economical efficiency and the easy drive operation.
