This paper presents a new method of profile design for strain wave gearing. The principles of this method are based on the positive deviated relative moving locus of two gears which construct the unit. One of the profile has a similar curve of the moving locus and the straight line. Another one is the generated curve by the former and the same straight line. It is expected that thiis profile has the high ratcheting torque which prevent the tooth flying due to the large load applied on teeth.
