Abstract
The setting of Gleason hypoid gear generator was analyzed by vector analysis method. Numerical data are calculated and used for TCA by 3D/CAD drawing and also numerical method. Tested contact mark on the tooth surfaces of hypoid gear coincide well with the theoretical contact pattern estimated by 3D/CAD drawing and also numerical tooth contact analysis.
