Abstract
This paper deals with a messaging method among distributed factories in order to make collaborative scheduling. Some application systems on Web-based technologies have a scheduler, which makes an entire schedule and distributes it to each factory. Others may be different, where each factory has a distributed scheduler that receives production orders from an order management system. Both cases need to have a suitable process for any unexpected situations such as late delivery. This paper reports some implementation results of a messaging system, which has push and pull protocols in accordance with the PSLX specifications.
