For achieving effective maintenance, it is necessary to make appropriate maintenance plans. For this purpose, we have proposed a procedure to select maintenance strategy based on technological and managerial evaluation. In the case of condition based maintenance, however, it is necessary to determine further detail, such as monitored functional state, monitoring interval and criteria for executing treatment. In this study, we propose a method for such detail planning based on deterioration progress pattern. In the method, the functional states are evaluated according to the objective of the maintenance. The effects of monitoring interval and a criterion for treatment is evaluated using Monte Carlo simulation.
