This paper considers how to realize the efficient manufacturing process under energy-saving and limited resources. In this study, we focus on a typical machining process and attempt to model and derive an effect cutting velocity under electric power-saving from the point of view of capacity planning and machine scheduling. Some results of computational results demonstrate the applicability of planning/scheduling as decision-makings for greening manufacturing systems.
