A Business Game for Learning about Managing Conflict of Key Performance Indicators of Supply Chains

Abstract

The operators have to execute a various number of tasks and keep their skill level in the labor-intensive cell manufacturing system. However, operators can't work with the same task regularly. They forget the way of the task that is seldom assigned. Therefore, we need to consider about learning and forgetting factors of the operators. In this paper, we proposed an operator allocation and task assignment method using DepletionPower-Integration-Latency (DPIL) model. After we perform computer experiments to adapt the DPIL model in the cell manufacturing system, we discuss the validity of the proposed method.
