Development of Flexible Manufacturing Simulator for Smart Green Manufacturing

Abstract

The efficient use of energy and resources enhancing sustainability in manufacturing has become a crucial issue. We have been developing a measurement and control platform for smart green manufacturing system that can smoothly connect factory automation and manufacturing execution system. This study investigate the applicability of our developed manufacturing simulator based on the platform to electric energy capacity planning for a manufacturing system.
