Abstract
The level set-based topology optimization method using the Tikhonov regularization method is proposed as a new type of topology optimization method which can be treated clear and smooth boundaries. Based on the proposed method, this paper proposes a extended regularization techniques for level set-based topology optimization method. First, basic details of the level set-based topology optimization method are briefly discussed. Next, based on the concept of the Tikhonov regularization, a new regularization term is introduced to the objective functional. Finally, three-dimensional example is provided to confirm the validity and utility of the proposed topology optimization method.
