SA/GA hybrid method for the two-objective optimization problem that minimizes the total weight and maximizes the first natural frequency is developed. In the multipurpose optimization problem, it is easy to obtain the localized solutions because the solution space often has multi peaks. So, in order to get better solutions effectively, many combinations of selection method in GA are tested in this report. The most effective selection method in the present method is investigated by the results of the numerical examples.
