Abstract
Material searching technology using optimization technology has been developed. The present technology has two key features: (1) Kriging model is used as a response surface method in order to search the target material, (2) the Kriging model can be constructed by a fewer sampling points by developed sampling selection method. The effectiveness of the proposed technology was demonstrated by applying it to the searching material of electrode files. It was found that the technology reduced the material searching time by 70% compared with that for previous way.
