Abstract
Integrated Modular Reactor (IMR) is adopted self-pressurized and natural circulation system to simplify plant equipment and to advance safety. The safety system of IMR is Standalone Direct Heat removal System (SDKS) of passive safety system to obtain high safety and simplified equipment which is difficult on large reactor. The SDKS has passive SG cooler (PSGC) to remove decay heat, and the natural circulation in SDKS is very important to transfer the heat from reactor vessel to PSGC. This paper focuses evaluation of SDHS by thermal hydraulic code and test plan to confirm the feasibility of SDHS, especially under the condition of natural circulation heat removal with non condensable gas on SDHS.
