The authors have been investigating about thermal utilization of the biomass resources in the city from the viewpoint of prevention of global warming. In this report, we examined high efficiency of the waste generation theoretically among a waste incineration plant and the sewage treatment plant where a waste biomass was concentrated. Specifically, we examined about two improvement methods. One way was a heating of the steam by means of a digestion gas which is generated through the sewerage treatment process. The other way is an introduction of binary cycle power generation by means of a working medium that has a low boiling temperature. As a result, it was revealed that the efficiency of incineration power generation is improved 8 percent at the maximum.
