Abstract
An experimental study has been done to elucidate effects of mass flux G, degree of subcooling ΔT_, initial solid temperature T_<b0> and thermal properties of test liquid and hot block on wetting temperature during spray cooling of a hot block. Wetting and quenching temperatures which correspond to the MHF point and sudden drop in surface temperature during transient transition boiling region were evaluated and categorized with GΔT_.
