配管減肉保全管理の高度化に向けた研究調査活動

In JSME, 3 phases of research committee for pipe wall thinning management improvement have been held since fiscal year 2008, 2 year-period for each, consecutively. In these committees, research and surveillance have been conducted on concerned technical area including wall thinning prediction method, inspection and monitoring of wall thickness, criteria for pipe integrity with local wall thinning, risk-based maintenance. Continuously, the 4th phase has started from fiscal year 2015. The purpose of the new phase is to approach for practical application and standardization of the developed relevant technique, especially prediction and inspection method. Two working groups are set up to conduct essential activities in the committee; Technical Basis Update WG and Management Rule Revision WG. It is desirable in the future, by referring to the outcome obtained through the committee activities, that the pipe wall thinning management in domestic power plants will be rationally improved and maitenance resources to be optimally assigned, consequently resulting in further elevation of safety level in power plants.
