Abstract
We have developed a novel orientation (or attitude) control unit that can be mounted on top of the mobile platform traversing uneven terrain. The unit can maintain a desired orientation and/or altitude employing the multi-stage inflatable frames irrespective of the irregularity of the terrain. A combination of different lengths of Film-Surface Bellows enables the developed unit to control its posture within an appropriate level of accuracy adapting to a variety of circumstances.
