Abstract
This paper addresses the fusion of home electric appliances and the robot which has some functions of search and rescue activities support in the collapsed house. The mobile robot of the interphone type with crawler arms was developed and it is called HoVIT (Home, Variable mode, Interphone type search and rescue roboT). This robot aims at a speedily and effectiveness of the search and rescue activities supports in the collapsed house. This paper proposed the moving control system for robots with subclowler in order to get over obstacles or bumps in the collapsed house. Experimental results were indicated that the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed control system.
