Abstract
Living cells have a variety of function with high performance and contract using chemical energy like oxygen and nutrition without electrical energy. We have proposed novel use of pulsating living cells as a driving source for micro bio-actuator. But, contractile force of single biological cell is not enough to actuate micro robot and mechanical system. So reconstruction of biological cells has been researched to generate high contractile force. Here we suggest muscle cells gel structures as the integration of muscle cells. The musclar cells gel structures are muscle cell culture in three dimensional gel structures utilized such as scaffold. In this paper, we fabricated prototype of a cardiomyocyte gel structures and confirmed it is possible to culture cardiomyocyte in the micro gel structures
