Abstract
In this study, we proposed to use the force generated by cell migration as a new drive force for self assembly and invented conveying mechanism by cells. We evaluated its assumption. First, micro movement of micro bead on the culturing cells on the substrate which was separated into cell adhesiveness area and nonadhesiveness area showed existence of driving force on the border line. Next, we manufactured the line & space patterned devise to drive a minim structure by patterned cells. As a result, this devise successfully drove a minim structure. Observed force driven by patterned cells could be driving force to realize self assembly using cells.
