Abstract
This paper describes the intelligent device for estimating the consumed energy accurately. In conventional devices, error of the estimating value is large, because they use only number of steps information. We propose a method of measuring number of steps and type of gate with a 3D accelerometer, a 2D electronic compass and a pressure sensor. Experimental results in real environment showed the effectiveness of our proposed method.
