Abstract
Electroencephalogram (EEG) measurement on dementia elderly in nursing home was carried out in order to estimate positive effect of robot assisted activity (RAA). AIBO (ERS-7, SONY ERC) was used as robotic pet for RAA session. Neuroactivity diagram was derived from EEG data by using 'Dimension' (BFL; Brain Function Lab.). It was found that improvement of neuroactivity was observed after 1 5 min. RAA, especially RAA by using remote controlled robot. We also investigate neuroactivity change by RAA for normal young subjects, and Data showed that RAA was not so effective for young person.
