Abstract
In this paper, an application of virtual fixture on a neurosurgical master slave system is presented. In neurosurgery, it is important to collaborate with many cutting-edge medical devices such as a navigation system. Using the developed software, "Open Core Control software", neurosurgical master slave system and navigation system can be tightly collaborated. As one of the advanced collaborating applications using this software, displaying surgical tool accessible area using virtual fixture is implemented.
