Abstract
It is necessary for an autonomous mobile robot to identify its own position in an environment during navigation at various time of day. In this paper, we studied the effect on the color information caused by time and weather. We also investigate the performance of our localization method in these situations. Based on the investigation results, we re-examine the visual features and verified the effectiveness of our proposed localization method.
