Abstract
This study aims at realizing a system which follows a human being and watches it. The system consists of a few of small mobile robots equipped with CCD camera and a terminal computer. The robot can know own position from an image processing and detects a human position and state. This system can perform a report of the identification of the suspicious individual in the public place and the accident outbreak of the child, accident prevention in the loitering of the old man, guidance and an instruction. This report describes a position measurement system by the mobile robot group with a stereocamera method to recognize a human being as a fundamental experiment for systems construction.
