Abstract
Minimally invasive surgery has recently become a key word in medical engineering. In this operation, to introduce surgical instruments, workspace-creation devices which push tissues aside and retain the approach are necessary. Therefore, a new type volume-controllable balloon with pressure sensing function has been developed. In this paper, we executed balloon sensor dynamic response test. When inner fluid was air, responsiveness was higher than water because of its low viscosity.
