Abstract
In collecting information by a mobile robot, it is an important problem to decide where to go and judge what is useful information. In our hypothesis, existance of an important information, such as news or events, affects the flow of pepole. We propose a moving strategy based on detection of abnormal flow of people. In this paper, we implement a flow abnormality detection system with range image. Experiment shows that the system can detects change of the flow of people. We will make an automatic mobile robot for collecting information with this system.
