Abstract
We have studied behavior acquisition for artificial creatures swimming. The buoyancy and water drags for them are proposed as a virtual under-water environment based on the physics modeling. The artificial creature can acquire behaviors like real fish swimming. In this study, we simulate variously-shaped artificial creatures to acquire swimming behaviors. Results are discussed on a relation between a shape of the artificial creature and an acquired swimming behavior in under-water environment.
