Abstract
In this paper, a surgical cockpit for brain tumor removal surgery is presented. The surgical cockpit was developed to be used with a neurosurgical intelligent surgical robot. As a concept of the surgical cockpit, the cockpit system can be intuitively used by introducing a similar manner of conventional neurosurgical procedure. Therefore, the presented surgical cockpit was designed to perform the motions of conventional neurosurgical procedure in tumor removal. In addition, the installability of the system in operation room was taken into account.
