2P2-O12 Development of Automatic Measurement System for Logs using Image Processing(Sense, Motion and Measurement)

Abstract

In this paper, a system that measures the diameter distribution of wood is developed. The photograph of several woods taken by a digital camera is synthesized by the imaging algorithm. The outline of each wood is extracted by the image processing, and its diameter can be calculated. The proposed system decreases the person's load. In the processing circulation of woods, standardized measurement will be attempted.
