Abstract
The utilization of multi sensors of a paddy field investigation robot for automation and lavorsaving of the paddy field management is discussed. Sensors of the robot measure paddy field environmental data such as air temperature, humidity, water level, water temperature, and dose of radiation. The robot can moves autonomously by using LRF (Laser Range Finder) for avoiding rice plants in a paddy field night and day. Remote operator can collect paddy field environmental data from the robot by telecommunication. We selected suitable sensors for the robot and conducted performance evaluations of the sensors.
