Abstract
In this study, the robot hand for machine tools with chucking function of work pieces, supplying function of cutting oil or air and cutting function was designed and made actually. Robot hands inside of which actuators are installed cannot output large grasping forces generally. Then, the robot hand driven by fluid pressure generated in a comparatively small pump was proposed here. The actuators of this robot hand are arranged outside of it. Moreover, the chucking function to fix work pieces onto the center of the robot hand was examined by performance tests.
