Abstract
In order to realize a space elevator, we investigate the technology for a climber. UNAGINOBORI is the climber we designed and produced. As a result of JSETEC2011, UNAGINOBORI went up by 50m, but could not reach the goal. From the inspection of the result, we found that the problems of UNAGINOBORI were the high abrasion rate of wheel, the bad position of center of gravity, and the insufficient autonomous control, installing and maintenance. We are now trying to improve them.
