Abstract
We propose new concept for haptic device that replicates the surface line,. By using that kind of device, much more variety of haptic interface can become a reality. To achieve that function, we develop a thin , stacked actuator made of electrostrictive polymer film that has a large deformation in thickness: more than 2%. We pick out 2 moving patters. By applying the programmed voltage to the device and measuring the deformation, we evaluate the response of that device. According to the result, we can confirm the feasibility of producing that 2 moving patterns by use of our thin, stacked actuator.
