Abstract
Various devices, such as MUAV or SUAV, have been developed to reach locations where people cannot reach and to survey the conditions at those locations. If operating these devices in the field with wind, there are problems such as difficulty takeoff and landing, restriction of flight direction. In this paper, it is proposed as new method of aerial photography by using kite and micro unmanned ground vehicle. Kite is possible to flying stable into strong winds and to stop at the same places. In addition, kite is possible to move freely regardless of the wind direction with pulling at more than wind speed by MUGV. The proposed aerial photography system is tested and demonstrated its effectiveness through a laboratory experiment and field experiment.
