Abstract
We develop block interface using RFID for programing education tool which is targeted at inexperienced persons in using computers like elementary school children. This interface consists of program blocks and a program mat. Each program block has a RFID tag which has information of the mobile robot's action. The program mat converts layout of the blocks into algorithm structure. Users can create the program of the mobile robot by laying out program blocks on the program mat based on algorithm structure. We conducted verification test to compare the interface with PC software using program tiles, and showed the usefulness of our developed interface in creating simple program of the mobile robot.
