Abstract
A rehabilitation bike for hemiplegic patients was started to develop. Hemiplegia causes as sequelae such as stroke, which is one of the lifestyle-related diseases. (lifestyle-related diseases includes such as stroke, high blood pressure, Cerebral infarction and diabetes). Sequelae such as hemiplegia may remain after the treatment being over because the complete recovery of hemiplegia can not be expected in current medical technologies. Therefore, the focus of this study is to develop the bicycle that can be fun the rehabilitation and never get tired for hemiplegic patient. In this paper, we produced a prototype of a rehabilitation bicycle for hemiplegic patients, constructed of the system and considered the control method. Effectiveness of the system was verified from the result of the basic test.
