Basic consideration of a continuous flow type mixer for high viscosity fluid by vibrating a flow channel of silicone tube

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop a flow type mixer which can be mixed high viscosity fluid. We prototyped the mixer using the vibration a flow channel of silicone tube. We also evaluated mixing characteristic of device and behavior analysis of fluid by tracer particle. As a result, we considered that vibrating a flow channel is affect in mixing performance.
