Abstract

The classical dance, which was used as a tool to communicate prayer and emotion since the dawn of time, is one of the communication media. The final goal of this research is to propose the method of generating interactive robot motion based on those classical dance features. In this paper, we analyze some common characteristics of classical dance motion using seven kinds of traditional dance using the principal component analysis, and make discussion.
