In this study, we reported the development of micro device for understanding the higher brain functions. We proposed the concept of micro device which could stimulate the neurons by the electrical stimulation. The power source of device was supplied by near-infrared light which irradiated to photodiode. In order to examine the possibility of the concept, we stimulated neurons by photodiode system which we constructed. Then, we could confirm that the fire phase of neurons was changed with timing of stimulations.
