Abstract

In this study, the concept of a small parallel opening and closing type chuck hand is being developed. Industrial chuck hand is the main type of parallel opening and closing mechanism because it can easily hold a materials with various shape. But this type of chuck hand is difficult to miniaturize and assure stroke. This paper describes a new design method for small and high precision 3D cam mechanism.
