Abstract

Recently, due to the development of a simple EEG measurement systems safely worn by humans, we can easily use it for BMI systems. However, the details of the signal processing for measured EEG such as the amplification factor and the noise filters are not disclosed. In addition, the unit of the acquired value may not be unclear. Therefore, it is difficult to use those commercially available systems to control robots. Thus we decided to build an EEG measurement system by ourselves. First, we built an EEG measurement system using an instrumentation amp. Then we measured EEG of a subject during concentration and relaxation state. As a result of Fourier analysis, the similar tendencies to those reported in other studies were observed.
