This paper describes a soft pneumatic wearable actuator, motion sock, to give passive ankle exercises for the prevention of DVT. It has a good affinity for the human leg. It gives proper plantarflexion-dorsiflexion movement in the range of motion of the ankle joint and has an effect to promote blood flow. Furthermore, my suggestion motion sock is easy to wear, and equipped with limiter which is a safety function. By simplifying wearing, the position of the actuator can be calibrated. The limiter prevents excessive burden to ankle joint. With these, more safe exercises can be done. Finally, examine the performance of the limiter and the performance of ankle movement support.
