Abstract

In recent years, the number of users of artificial hand has increased. There are many types of artificial hands which are operated by EMG. Most of them are used some SEMG signals which are measured from user's forearm. Because muscles in forearm dominate hand and finger motions, we can estimate various hand motions using these signals. The mechanism that can display power according to each hand motions to the user is experimentally developed. Furthermore if an artificial hand user is able to sense the grip power and feeling of touch of something, the user obtains more information from the hand and this hand will be very useful one. Therefore, we developed the method that can sense and display these feeling using the vibration of air pressure in the cuff. In this paper we talked about this method.
