Abstract

This paper describes a real-time vibration spectrum imaging system with pixel-level shortterm Fourier Transform (STFT); the pixel-level STFT function for HFR images at 1000 fps or more is accelerated with its parallel-implementation on a GPU-based high-speed vision system, and power vibration spectrum images of 512×512 pixels can be obtained in real time at 30 fps By showing experimental results for vibrating objects such as a multicopter and guitar strings, the effectiveness of real-time vibration spectrum imaging was verified on our system.
